Irah Sok was shot in the head by three men who entered her home early Friday morning, according to a report from Kiro7 News.

The report said Sok's Cambodian-American husband, Makara, and their son were also at home when the incident happened.

Makara, who was also hurt in the incident, said he immediately called 911 from a neighbor’s house after the suspects left.

“Amazing mother, amazing wife,” Makata told Kiro7 News. “I love her to death. I wish she still here with me right now.” “My emotions are everywhere right now... I’m sad. I’m hurt. I don’t know what to do," he added.

Sok, a photographer who specialized in shooting pregnant women and new mothers, had only recently opened her own photo studio in Mill Creek in January last year.

The three suspects are still at large.

The Snohomish County Sheriff's Office assured it will continue to investigate and search for the three assailants.

“I’m begging the community to come out and help me catch these people. This is a shameless act. Who would think you would wake up and lose your wife," Makara said.
