Sunae Asian Cantina has been a favorite of my sons and myself ever since we got to try their Asian-influenced cuisine. It’s located at the 2nd floor View Deck at One Bonifacio High Street Mall, and trust me when I say you’ll be blown over by the casual setting, and the menu items that are bursting with flavors. Their Wagyu Thai Roll, Kinilaw Sa Pipinu, and Burnt Coconut Curry are among our personal go-to’s when we dine there.
So it was great news to hear that this Sunday, August 21, they’ll be holding a special one-day pop-up brunch while Chef Christina Sunae is in town. The five-course set menu is a heady selection of the very best that Sunae offers on a regular basis, with wine pairings coming from their tie up with Moët Hennessy and The Tasting Club.
Whether from the Philippines, from Thailand, India, Indonesia, Malaysia, or Vietnam, Chef Christina puts an indelible stamp on her dishes so that while there’s something authentic about the cuisine, there’s a little twist or personalized aspect that accompanies the offerings.
