Pasiwen orders greater police visibility in Central Luzon

CAMP OLIVAS, City of San Fernando, Pampanga – Newly installed Central Luzon Police regional director Brigadier General Cesar R. Pasiwen has ordered all unit commanders in Region 3 to maximize police visibility through the use of mobile forces personnel.

The directive was one of the marching orders of Pasiwen since he assumed the post a few days back.

The region’s top cop stressed that greater police visibility will help discourage criminals preying on defenseless victims, especially bikers who train early in the morning.

Pasiwen specifically ordered the police force to increase police presence in areas frequented by morning bikers, or commuters who go home during wee hours at night.

Pasiwen also ordered the immediate solution of the case involving a teenaged female biker who was found dead in Bustos, Bulacan several days ago.

He urged the bikers not to go bike alone, and instead join bigger groups on the road.

Pasiwen at the same time has encouraged commuters to be alert and wary while waiting for public transport vehicles as they head home.

“We will also deploy our mobile forces in strategic locations to include major thoroughfares and even in gasoline stations and establishments inside expressways to prevent robberies and other possible atrocities,” Pasiwen said.
