They were nabbed by the Taguig police’s Drug Enforcement Unit in a buy-bust operation conducted on Ramon Street in Barangay Ibayo-Tipas.

Seized in the operation were seven plastic sachets of suspected shabu (methamphetamine hydrochloride) weighing 15.9 grams with a value of P108,120, and the P300 buy-bust money.

The two suspects are detained at the custodial facility of Taguig police while the recovered pieces of evidence were turned over to SPD Forensic Unit for chemical analysis.

Kraft said that as the new SPD director, he will continue the campaign against illegal drugs.

He added that the SPD was awarded for the best anti-illegal drug operations.

“Bilang inyong bagong District Director ay nasa likod niyo ako at ating ipagpapatuloy ang nasimulang laban kontra illegal na droga. Iisa ang ating adhikain, at ito ay ang magkaroon ng tahimik at ligtas na komunidad (As your new district director, I am behind you and we will continue the war against illegal drugs. We have one goal and this is to have a peaceful and safe community),” he said.
