Tuguegarao mayor: Always follow Covid health protocols

TUGUEGARAO CITY – Mayor Maila Ting Que has urged residents here not to be complacent about the threat of Covid-19.

She said everyone must properly adhere to minimum public health standards at all times.

Que strictly ordered the wearing of facemasks when going out and in enclosed spaces.

Also practice hand washing or use alcohol or alcogels, physical distancing, and avoid crowded places, she added.

Que made the appeal as Covid cases here continue to increase. This city has 222 active cases as of Monday, August 15.

The City Health Office said there were 19,507 confirmed cases, 18,667 recovered cases, and 615 deaths since the pandemic began.

Que advised residents isolate immediately if they show symptoms and get tested at the nearest testing center.

Let us stop the spread of Covid-19 together for everyone's safety, she said.
