“Nagpapasalamat po ako sa Ayala Foundation sa kanilang dedikasyon at pagpapaabot ng tulong para sa lahat ng (I thank the Ayala Foundation for their dedication and for extending help for all) Filipino learners,” Duterte wrote.

The meeting between the Education chief, which the Vice President holds in a concurrent capacity, and the Ayala Foundation happened at the Department of Education (DepEd) central office on Monday, Aug. 15.

Duterte said the foundation expressed its willingness to support the programs of the Education department to improve the quality of education in the country.
