A turnover ceremony was held on Monday, August 15, at the regional headquarters in Camp Ruperto Kangleon in Palo, Leyte.

The ceremony was presided over by Lieutenant General Rhodel Sermonia, Area Police Commander for the Visayas.

Prior to his assignment in the region, Marbil was the chief of the Philippine National Police Highway Patrol Group.

On the other hand, Banac, who served Eastern Visayas for six months, has been designated as the Acting Director of the Directorate for Plans at the National Headquarters.

Banac is a member of the PMA “Tanglaw-Diwa” Class of 1992.
