Edukasyon.ph launches on-demand K-12 tutoring service in English, Math, and Filipino for students in Kindergarten to Grade 10
The largest EdTech startup in the Philippines, Edukasyon.ph, launched EDGE Tutor, an on-demand K-12 tutoring service in English, Math, and Filipino for students in Kindergarten to Grade 10. Accessible on the web, desktop, and mobile, EDGE Tutor combines great teachers, a world-class curriculum developed by experts, aligned with DepEd standards, and crafted to be globally competitive in one easy-to-use platform.

EDGE Tutor makes it simple to get started on almost any device. By visiting its website, you can book a free 25-minute tutoring session on the subject of your choice. After the free trial session, parents can choose between four and 10 sessions for ₱999 and ₱4,199 a month, respectively. The student will get a free grade-level assessment and a personalized learning plan to achieve the parents’ goals.
Led by expertly trained tutors, the program begins with an academic diagnostic assessment to pinpoint areas in which support is needed. From there, an individualized plan is created to set learning goals, followed by flexible instruction up to five times a week, with 25 to 50 or more minute sessions in one-to-one or small group settings. Students are re-assessed throughout the program to monitor progress and growth, allowing for ongoing plan recalibration and goal resetting.
During each lesson, students and tutors interact live in a virtual classroom, which features integrated functions such as a whiteboard, stopwatch, H5 animation, and the option to share a screen and answer tasks.
EDGE and their fully accredited tutors go through a rigorous selection process, with less than a three percent acceptance rate into Edukasyon. Beyond their credentials, tutors are selected precisely for their personality, patience, and subject matter expertise. EDGE Tutors undergo 20 hours of mandatory training monthly and lessons are regularly observed for feedback.
