The Pasay City government will conduct simultaneous vaccinations in two public schools in the city on Aug. 15 and 16 in line with the PinasLakas vaccination program of President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos, Jr.

Mayor Emi Calixto-Rubiano said the administration of Covid-19 vaccines will be held at Timoteo Paez ElementarySchool and Pasay City West High School from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

Rubiano particularly asked the residents who have not received yet any single dose of the vaccine to get the jab for their protection against the disease.

She said the city government will administer first, second and booster shots for individuals belonging to A1 (health workers), A2 (senior citizens), A3 adults with comorbidities, A4 (workers), A5 (indigents); the rest of adult population; and minors (12 to 17 years old).

The mayor said the city government will also give the second booster shot to 50 years old and above (all categories), health care workers, and senior citizens with comorbidities.

Rubiano said the PinasLakas was launched by the Department of Health (DOH) which aims to provide booster shots to eligible Filipinos and increase vaccination rate especially among senior citizens.
