Starting Aug. 15, Mars Ravelos “Darna” will replace “FPJs Ang Probinsyano” as it bows out of the Kapamilya Network after seven years.
During a media conference held at the Dolphy Theater, ABS CBN Compound in Quezon City recently, Jane de Leon admits there’s pressure in playing “Darna.”
But I am so grateful naman and happy. Ibibigay po namin ang best namin. Hindi pa [kami nakakapag-usap] pero excited akong mag-usap ulit kami ni Coco,” she said.
Jane also revealed that the non-renewal of the ABS-CBN franchise affected her and the making of the “Darna” serye.
Playing important roles with Jane are Iza Calzado as the first Darna and Narda’s mother Leonor; Janella Salvador, Valentina; Zaijian Jaranilla, Darna’s sidekick Ding, and Joshua Garcia, a policeman named Brian.
