TABUK CITY, Kalinga – Police found a marijuana plantation in the mountains of Sitio Binongsay, Malin-awa in this city on Friday, August 5, after getting the information from a concerned citizen.

The operatives of the Kalinga Provincial Police Office and the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency-Kalinga conducted a two-day operation called ‘Oplan Lindol’ on August 4 and August 5, after the confirmation of the presence of the plantation in the target area.

According to Col. Peter Tagtag, Jr., provincial director, about 12,000 pieces of marijuana with a standard price of P2,400,000 were planted over 1,200 square meters.
