Shabu worth P1.3-M, unlicensed firearms seized from seven drug peddlers in Pampanga


CAMP OLIVAS, City of San Fernando, Pampanga -- At least seven suspected drug peddlers were arrested by authorities during separate anti-illegal drug bust operations in Bataan and Pampanga on Wednesday, August 3.

Police Regional Office 3 Director Brigadier General Matthew P. Baccay said operatives of Orion Police, together with 1st Provincial Mobile Force Company- Bataan Police Provincial Office and with other law enforcement units, conducted the operation at Brgy. Villa Angeles Orion, Bataan.

The operation resulted in the arrest of John Kevin Manla, 30; Jayson Paguio, 24; Jerry Monla, 54; Mateo Aquino, 24; and Jiezl Angeles, 29.

Seized from the suspects were four small to large sachets of shabu weighing 50 grams amounting to P400,000 and Cal. 45 with one magazine loaded with seven live ammunition, and a .22 caliber firearm.

Two more suspected drug peddlers identified as Jemaimah Datu, 31, resident of Brgy., Dau, Mabalacat City, Pampanga, and Saddam Bertudan, 27, Northwest, Angeles City were arrested by joint elements of Mabalacat Police through buy-bust operation in Brgy. Dau, Mabalacat City Pampanga.

Eight sachets of suspected shabu weighing 130 grams amounting to P884,000 were seized from the duo.
