The reorganization of the government continued with Malacañang announcing the appointment of a new chief of the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) as well as a slew of other undersecretaries and assistant secretaries.

Meanwhile, Malacañang announced that a state funeral will be held on August 9, 2022 for former President Fidel V. Ramos. The start of the wake for Ramos was also announced, as well as the schedule for the public viewing of the former leader’s remains.
