What property development needs three clubhouses? Any development seems to have the perfunctory main clubhouse to serve anything from hosting socials to functioning as a common leisure area. But Vie at Southern Plains, the 65-hectare planned development by Victor Consunji Development Corporation (VCDC), is not just planned as a place where residents come home and sleep, it is designed for where lifestyles are lived.

One of the manifestations of this philosophy is the idea of having three distinct clubhouses: a main clubhouse with a resort-style pool, lounge area and modern function hall; a fitness park with a covered court, fully equipped gym and a second-floor area ideal for studio activities like yoga and dance classes; and a dedicated children’s park with colorful playpods, a kiddie pool, function space, and even an al fresco cinema.

The first of the three clubhouses was recently unveiled to select guests at a two-day event called the C’est La Vie Tour of Vie at Southern Plains. The tour was an opportunity to experience what VCDC founder and CEO Victor Consunji envisions as an assuredly different lifestyle that communes with nature and preserves it. Guests enjoyed the flowing food and wine, and indulged in entertainment and leisure activities best enjoyed in relaxed spaces.

Centrally located in Calamba, Laguna with access to no less than three major thoroughfares, Vie at Southern Plains will have only a limited number of units built on the property in order to preserve its community feel. The clubhouses sport the same motif as the rest of the development: brutalist architecture, clean lines, and generous spaces that let in the light and air. Designer Ria Prieto was brought in to lend her sense of style and elegance to the main clubhouse.

“The vision of our founder and CEO, Vic, has always been about space, using sustainable materials, and bringing back how a quality home should be,” said Lana Johnson, Vie at Southern Plains chief of marketing.

The villas at Vie at Southern Plains are the best of both worlds. Future homeowners can fully customize their own homes, or have everything done for them from design and construction to until furnishing the home. The homeowners’ backyard will be masterplanned streets, landscaped gardens, and convenient lifestyle shops that provide for their everyday needs.

“This is the wisest decision in choosing a home because when the buyers want to make big or bigger changes in their homes in a few years from now, or even five years later, it will not be a problem because buyers can decide however and whenever they want to make the adjustments hassle-free, making their homes adapt to their evolving lifestyles,” said Consunji.
