BARMM vaccination

Vergeire on Thursday paid a courtesy call to BARMM Chief Minister Ahod Ebrahaim to discuss the implementation of Covid-19 vaccination program in the area.

"We will need your support to provide vaccines to the different settings in the region---our schools, markets, offices, and the community," said Vergeire.

Based on DOH data, around 3.2 million people in BARMM are eligible for Covid-19 vaccination. However, only 1.5 million individuals have so far been fully vaccinated, while 163,308 people received their first booster shots as of July 21, 2022.
