Starbucks and Line Friends highlight the Philippines’ culture with their new collection

Their ‘City Exclusive’ collection features the Philippines’ jeepney, sampaguita flower, tarsier, among others

When you ask Filipinos to describe the Philippines, a variety of symbols come into the conversation. From distinct local dishes and exotic flora and fauna to the very Filipino jeepney and tricycles, they have unique takes on representing the diverse and colorful heritage of the country. This time, these iconic emblems are put in the spotlight as Starbucks and Line Friends launch a new collection paying homage to Asia’s landmarks and traditions.

Dubbed “City Exclusive,” the collection features Line Friends’ Brown, Cony, and Sally as they take everyone on an Asian journey through lifestyle essentials imbued with the vibrant spirit of Hong Kong, Korea, Taiwan, Thailand, and, of course, the Philippines. For the Philippine line, Filipino fans of the coffee chain will be delighted with the collection’s ceramic mug, tote bag, plastic cold cup, and tumbler with designs highlighting the halo-halo, Sampaguita flower, and other local heritage sites.

United by the brands’ shared aspirations to continue creating delightful everyday moments, the “City Exclusive” collection aims to inspire customers to experience their hometown with a renewed sense of appreciation. This marks the third collaboration between Starbucks and Line Friends, following the launch of the joyful Holiday and Earth Day collections, loved by customers around the world.

The limited-edition collaboration is now available at select Starbucks stores in Hong Kong, South Korea, the Philippines, Thailand, and Taiwan.
