Utmost Creatives presents the new superheroes in town!
"Genius Teens" was filmed as a one-season, six-episode series that featured local and international character actors.
At the media premiere of the first two episodes, held at the SM Megamall Cinema 10 recently, the cast of "Genius Teens" and the Italian Director Paolo Bertola gave their fans a special treat.
Bertola said they had to stop shooting the movie because of the pandemic.
"It was a difficult time because of the pandemic, we started to film Genius Teens two months before the pandemic. When we resumed the shoot with a lot of kids and teenagers, many families and guardians were concerned," Bertola shared.
The film was an original concept created by Mario Alaman, also the executive producer and writer of the film. Shot in Nueva Ecija, "Genius Teens" showcases what it means to be human, the country's beautiful places, culture, family, and values.
Part of the cast of "Genius Teens" is ABS-CBN Star Hunt artist, vlogger, and Kumu streamer, Beaver Magtalas, 16; and singer-actor Bamboo Bobadilla, 14.
"Genius Teens" also features adult characters such as Italian-Filipino actor Ruben Maria Soriquez, former PBB housemate Dionne Monsanto, and veteran actor Ces Aldaba.
The original Filipino sci-fi film was launched on KTX.ph on July 15.
