Maya Hawke, Robin Buckley in “Stranger Things,” is to release a new album this September.

Maya announced this on “The Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon.”

“This record is called ‘Moss’ because I’ve been gathering a  lot in the last few years,” Hawke said.

“Sitting still and collecting a green blanket of memories and feelings, Making this record was me trying to get up and shake it off and look at all of it. It was the first step in untangling myself and really trying to look at the rock under the moss,” she added.

The first single off the new record was released recently, an alt-pop and folk tinged number called “Thérèse.”

Said Maya, “The song is inspired by a painting but about feeling hemmed in and stuck. Stuck as the version of yourself that someone else created.”

“Moss” will contain 13-tracks in all.

It is Maya’s second effort.

She had previously released the critically-acclaimed “Blush,” her debut.

Maya Hawke is the daughter of actors Ethan Hawke and Uma Thurman.
