Most wanted persons in Taguig, Pateros nabbed


The police arrested two men tagged as the No. 1 most wanted persons in Taguig and Pateros on July 6.

Robin Maltu, 40, who is the No. 1 most wanted person of the Taguig police for the third quarter of 2022, was arrested in Barangay Bangad in Santa Maria, Isabela.

Maltu, a resident of the barangay, was nabbed in a joint operation by the Santa Maria municipal police together with the Regional Group on Special Company, District Mobile Force Battalion under the National Capital Region Police Office, Intelligence Section, Taguig police, and 1st Isabela Provincial Mobile Force Company.

The police nabbed him based on a warrant of arrest with no bail recommended for murder issued by Judge Loralie Datahan of Taguig Regional Trial Court Branch 69 on June 13.

The suspect is temporarily detained at the Santa Maria police’s custodial facility pending the issuance of a commitment order from the court of origin.

“I commend the successful police operation conducted by the joint operating teams that led to the arrest of the Top Most Wanted Person. We will not stop our campaign. Instead, we will be more vigorous to locate the whereabouts of other listed wanted persons and to arrest them in order for them to face their committed crimes,” said Southern Police District director Brig. Gen. Jimili Macaraeg.

Meanwhile, the police arrested Erwin Constantino, 33, a resident of Barangay Poblacion, Pateros, who is tagged as the No. 1 most wanted person of the Pateros police.

Constantino was nabbed on Sampaguita Road in Barangay Poblacion, Muntinlupa by personnel of the Pateros police together with the SPD’s District Mobile Force Battalion.

Presiding Judge Joy Casihan-Dumlao of the Pasig Regional Trial Court Branch 262 issued a warrant of arrest against Constantino for robbery with violence against or intimidation of a person. His bail was set at P100,000.

He is detained at the NBP Reservation Facility in Muntinlupa.
