Anti-narcotics operatives of the Western Visayas regional police arrested a woman whom they described as a major player in the illegal drugs trade in Bacolod City.
Police Brig. Gen. Flynn Dongbo, director of the Police Regional Office 6, said the suspect identified as Christine Dacumos yielded almost P3 million worth of shabu during a buy-bvust in Bacolod City.
The arrest of the 36-year old Dacumos was announced after the transaction was completed on Tuesday, July 5.
"She is considered as a high-value individual for illegal drugs and is a major drug player based on our reports," said Dongbo.
Criminal charges are now being readied against the suspect, according to Dongbo.
