Some voters to receive two ballots during brgy, SK polls

Some voters will receive two ballots when they vote in the Dec 5, 2022 Barangay and Sangguniang Kabataan Elections.

Commission on Elections (Comelec) Acting Spokesperson John Rex Laudiangco said these are the voters who are 18 to 30 years old.

"Those 18 to 30 years old will receive two ballots, one for SK, and one for regular barangay ballot," he said during the Laging Handa forum on Tuesday, July 5.

Laudiangco said those 15 to 17 years old will receive one ballot which is the SK ballot while those 31 and above will receive the ballot for the barangay.

Unlike in the last May 9 National and Local Elections which was automated, he said the BSKE will be manual.

"The difference between NLE and BSKE is the manner. Practically, the personnel involved and equipment are just the same. The difference is the machine and ballot. This is manual," said Laudiangco.
