Singer-actress Toni Gonzaga alerted followers to a social media impostor supposedly asking money on her behalf.
In a series of posts, she reiterated that the Facebook page "Celestine Gonzaga-Soriano" is not an official account.
She then asked followers, "If you could kindly report also. Maraming salamat."
Toni reiterated that her official account is "Toni Gonzaga Studio."
The TV host-turned-online content creator also uploaded a screenshot of the scammer's post asking fans for donations.
It read: "During this broadcast, you can support my Page by sending Stars, a digital gift that helps me earn money."
Toni reiterated: "We don't ask for money.. this is a fake account. If you can also report. Thank you so much..."
This is not the first time that a celebrity's name was used by a scammer.
Recall that some year ago, Angel Locsin also warned of a scammer using her name to gather donations for typhoon victims.
Social media darling Donnalyn Bartolome, meanwhile, made news reacting to a netizen who used her pictures while allegedly looking for a sugar daddy.
