MACALELON, Quezon – A 40-year-old farmer wanted for rape was arrested by authorities in Barangay Malabahay here Sunday, July 3.
The Quezon Police Provincial Office (QPPO) identified the suspect as Dario de Mesa of Barangay Malabahay.
De Mesa, No. 1 Most Wanted Person on the regional level, was arrested by combined forces of the police, Army, and Air Force.
His warrant of arrest was issued by Judge Luvina Padolina Roque of the Regional Trial Court Branch 32 in San Pablo City, Laguna dated March 2021 with no bail recommended for five counts of rape.
De Mesa is now in the custody of the Macalelon PNP.
