The Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) welcomes its new chief in the person of Bienvenido “Benny” Laguesma.

Outgoing DOLE chief Silvestre Bello III passed the baton and urged the department to fully support Laguesma, who willingly accepted his new role serving the labor sector during a turnover ceremony on Friday, July 1.

Laguesma has already served the DOLE for more than three decades, beginning in 1976. He vowed to make the labor department a “more responsible and responsive institution that reaches out to needy workers, especially those in rural and far-urban areas.”

In the DOLE Good News segment, the National Maritime Polytechnic (NMP) holds pilot testing on safety training courses and ship management crisis.

DOLE Davao de Oro empowers program partners through livelihood grants. Meanwhile, the OFW Hospital was finally inaugurated and turned over under the management of the Overseas Workers Welfare Administration of the Department of Migrant Workers (OWWA-DMW)

In the “Oh May Jobs Dito” portion, more job vacancies will be announced. Host Tuesday Niu will give helpful advice on “Trabaho Tip ni Tuesday”.
