Joakinn Reyes' single launch concert to re-run this Sunday

Joakinn Reyes

A day after “Tamang Panahon” track was released in all major digital platforms last June 24, promising RnB artist Joakinn Reyes streamed from his home studio a live musical treat for his supporters in Kumu and Facebook.

Joakinn performed 20 songs accompanied by pianist Elizar Almencion, musician Polo Miguel Dela Cruz and show director Josh Sunga for about two hours of live stream including his 1st single “Signs” and his 1st composition “Tamang Panahon” released through Universal Records. OPM singers Leah Patricio, Lucky Robles, Kimberly Baluzo, Josh Sunga and Froilan Canlas also rendered songs in the program. A bar concert feel in his home studio was decorated and lighted by LJ Romano II.

But prior to his live rendition of “Tamang Panahon”, he was overwhelmed with the surprise video greetings prepared by Keijojit Productions.

It includes welcome greetings from the managing director of Universal Records Philippines, Ms. Kathleen Dy-Go.

“At 19 years old, you have a long way to go and we wish you all the luck”, this words of encouragement made a mark in Joakinn’s heart.

UR artist and Asia’s Pop Idol Christian Bautista also welcomed him in Universal Records family.

His “Ninong”, OPM icon and After Image frontman Wency Cornejo was also amazed to learn that Joakinn is sort of following his footsteps as a multi-talented musician.

Other OPM artists who congratulated him are RnB singer Bugoy Drilon and Tawag ng Tanghalan Season 1 2nd runner-up Froilan Canlas, who is also his vocal coach and co-writer of his new song.

Relive the entire experience of the virtual concert on Sunday, July 3, at 7 pm via his Facebook and YouTube account.
