DepEd issued DepEd Order No. 032 series of 2022 to provide details on the requirements, procedure, and schedule for voucher application.

Other information related to the SHS-VP application for School Year (SY) 2022-2023 such as qualification and redemption were also outlined in the newly-issued DepEd order.

“These guidelines shall have national applicability, effective for vouchers that will be redeemed in SY 2022-2023,” DepEd said.

DepEd said that the application for the SHS VP will be done online only, thus “no manual applications will be accepted.”

The SHS VP application period started on June 29, 2022, wherein interested applications can start creating their Online Voucher Application Portal (OVAP) as well as their application submission.

Interested applicants can only create OVAP accounts until July 22.

The deadline for the SHS VP applications on OVAP will be on July 29.

The forwarding of processed applications to DepEd was scheduled for Aug. 12.

The posting of application results and the start of voucher redemption will be on Aug. 22.

DepEd reminded the public that qualified learners who fall under the following categories need not apply for the SHS VP since they are considered automatically qualified already.

The learners assured that they can avail of their vouchers for Grade 11 in SY 2022-2023 are those who completed/will complete Grade 10 in SY 2021-2022 in DepEd public schools and learners who completed/will complete Grade 10 in SY 2021-2022 in private schools who are Education Service Contracting (ESC) grantees.

Meanwhile, learners who graduated high school in 2015 or earlier; incoming Grade 12 learners who were not part of the SHS VP in Grade 11, and non-Filipino learners are not eligible for SHS VP.
