NCAA volleyball: Arellano downs JRU

Arellano bounced back from a second-set loss and outplayed Jose Rizal University (JRU), 25-18, 19-25, 25-18, 25-19, Saturday in NCAA women’s volleyball at the Paco Arena.

Princess Bello sparkled with 23 points off 21 spikes as the Lady Chiefs improved to a 4-1 win-loss record at second place.

Charmina Dino and Trina Abay also spelled the difference with 11 and 10 points as Arellano regained its strong offensive game in the last two frames.

Riza Rose was the lone double-digit scorer for JRU with 13 points as the Lady Bombers fell to 2-3.
