MB Daily News Update: Sleepless in Ayungin

Military personnel stationed at the BRP Sierra Madre anchored at the Ayungin Shoal in the Kalayaan Island Group (KIG), Palawan, got a much-needed boost as they received fresh food and other supplies from their visiting comrades. But all these were reportedly being closely watched by the China Coast Guard (CCG).

Five areas in Metro Manila are now under the “moderate risk” status for Covid-19 following the continuing uptick in the number of cases, the Department of Health (DOH) said. These areas are Pasig, San Juan, Quezon City, Marikina, and Pateros.
