Rooms for engagement

Social issues in exhibition spaces discussed in free online lecture

“Exhibition Design: Narrative Spaces, Connectivity, and Social Engagement,” a free online lecture on possibilities to transform exhibition spaces into a platform for underrepresented and difficult social issues, will be discussed by certified registered graphic designer (RGD) Rina Alfonso via Zoom on Thursday, June 30, at 3 p.m.

Alfonso will speak on how exhibition design utilizes objects, graphics and multi-dimensional spaces. She will also talk on merges in curatorial practice, graphic design, and programmatic spatial design in delivering these stories.

She will elaborate how design in itself can help the audience gain a broader perspective and understanding of the different important social and historical narratives.
