For the first graduation, CDM president Dr. Teresita Fortuna congratulated the institution’s first 33 graduates including nine cum laudes.

By degree, CDM has produced nine graduates in Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering, three in BS Electrical Engineering, four in BS Mechanical Engineering, 11 in BS Computer Engineering, and six in BS Electronics Engineering.

Outgoing Mayor and congressman-elect Jaime Fresnedi graced the ceremony and congratulated the graduates and their parents for their accomplishment.

He challenged the graduates to demonstrate excellence in their future endeavors and to give back their “Lakas, Talino, at Buhay” to the city.

Vice Mayor Temy Simundac, Coun. Raul Corro, city government department heads, and CDM teaching and non-teaching personnel also attended the ceremony.

All graduates that are Muntinlupa residents can apply for a P10,000 to P16,000 assistance for their board exam review from the Muntinlupa Scholarship Division.

Recently, CDM celebrated its feat in the recent Registered Master Electrician (RME) licensure examination as one of its students placed sixth in the overall ranking and for clinching a 100 percent passing rate.

The RME passers from CDM are Arvin Tolentino (sixth place), Dennis Mañozo, and Joshua James Racelis who are also part of the pioneer batch of graduates.

Last June 14, city officials inaugurated the newly constructed CDM Building 2, a six-story building with 16 classrooms and seven laboratories for civil and mechanical engineering students.

It will house a Civil Engineering Laboratory, Mechanical Engineering Pilot Plant, Equipment Design Prototyping Fabrication Facility, Electronics Engineering Laboratory, Electrical Engineering Laboratory, Computer Engineering Laboratory, and an Architecture Studio.
