The Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) will set up a centralized online center to receive and answer complaints from taxpayers about arrogant and dishonest revenuers.

Incoming BIR Commissioner Lilia Guillermo said the program is aimed at enhancing the image of the agency and bringing it closer to the taxpaying public.
A select team will man the existing chatbot named Revie which can be reached at www.bir.gov ph.
The new BIR chief appealed to complainants to file only truthful allegations and not personal bias that also harass dedicated and upright taxmen.
She told the social media interviewer that complainants should name names specifying the nature of offense to facilitate the investigation and rid the service of undesirables.
