Organizers of the Premier Volleyball League decided to move the Invitational Conference from July 2 to July 9.

In a statement, the decision was made upon the request of the team members to have more time to train for the said conference.

Seven local teams led by PVL Open Conference champion Creamline will be competing. They are Petro Gazz, Chery Tiggo, Cignal, Choco Mucho, Army Black Mamba and PLDT.

Foreign guest teams Kobe Shinwa Women’s University of Japan and the Taipei King Whales of Chinese Taipei will join them in the semifinals.

The seven teams will fight a round-robin elimination.

All squads will be ranked using the FIVB Ranking System with the top four moving to the next phase.
