3 nabbed, drug den dismantled, P97,000 shabu seized in Pampanga operation


THREE drug suspects were arrested in a joint police and Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency operation in Mabalacat City, Pampanga.
MABALACAT CITY, Pampanga – Three drug suspects were arrested and a makeshift drug den was dismantled in an operation on 19th St., Barangay Dau, here Wednesday, June 22.

The Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA)-Region 3 (Central Luzon), identified the suspects as Ruben Esquariaga Cruz, alias “Boy,” 61; Daisy Walker David, alias “Ate,” 49; and Alvaro Cabanding Balmores, 20, all of 19th St., Barangay Dau.

The suspects, included in the PDEA-Philippine National Police (PNP) unified watchlist, yielded eight heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets containing 11 grams of suspected shabu amounting to P97,900; assorted drug paraphernalia, and the buy-bust money.

The anti-drug operation was conducted by PDEA-Central Luzon and local police acting on complaints received from residents.

Charges for violation of Republic Act (RA) No. 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 will be filed against the suspects.
