Gabriela aims to further magnify women’s voice in Congress


"We will touch base with the widest women, lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender (LGBT), and children’s rights constituencies in keeping with our reputation as the sole women’s partlylist in Congress.”

This was stated by Gabriela Partylist Representative Arlene Brosas when she took her oath of office on Monday, June 20. Quezon City Mayor Joy Belmonte administered the said ceremony.

Brosas, on her third and final term as Gabriela Partylist representative, said that they will continue fighting for women’s rights.

“Patuloy nating ipaglalaban ang mga kahilingan ng kababaihan lalo na sa ilalim ng rehimeng Marcos - Duterte (We will continue to fight for the demands of women especially under the Marcos-Duterte regime,” said Brosas.

Gabriela Partylist garnered more than 400,000 votes in the 2022 partylist race.
