The Lady Blazers bounced back from a second-set hiccup and unleashed a variety of plays to dispose of the Lady Knights and extend their winning run to three games.

Francis Mycah Go lifted St. Benilde with 17 points off 14 kills, two aces and one block while Jade Gentapa chipped in 15 points including 14 attacks.

The Lady Blazers took advantage of the Lady Knights’ weak defense, unloading 55 kills and managing five aces.

Jhasmine Gayle Pascual also shone for St. Benilde with 13 points while help also came from Michelle Gamit, who contributed 11 points.

Letran fell deeper into the cellar with a 0-3 record despite the persistent efforts of Shereena Urmeneta, who topped with 12 points.

Chamberlaine Cunada, Julienne Castro and Daisy Melendres teamed up for 23 points, but it was still not enough to snap the Lady Knights’ losing skid.
