“Reports from the DOH data beginning April 29 to June 8, 2022, most LGUs from the NCR including Muntinlupa City are at low risk classification due to positive one week growth rate,” he said.

He added, “Furthermore our city maintains a low risk average daily attack rate and a low risk healthcare utilization rate (22.2 percent bed utilization and 20 percent ICU bed utilization) which are both below 40 percent threshold as per DOH data collection as of June 7, 2022.”

Local government units and the DOH have different data on Covid-19 cases.

Based on the DOH Covid-19 Tracker, as of June 15, Muntinlupa added four new Covid-19 cases to bring the total active cases to 61.

The DOH data showed that as of June 14, Muntinlupa has a bed occupancy rate of 24.8 percent with 25 beds occupied out of 101 in seven health facilities in the city.

Of the total 15 ICU (intensive care unit) beds, three are occupied or 20 percent, and 22 non-ICU beds are occupied out of 86, or 25.58 percent.

The Muntinlupa City government has reminded the public to continue wearing face masks and get vaccinated as protection against Covid-19.
