Maserati unveils the Levante Hybrid

Luxury, performance, and conscientiousness

Maserati offers its customers a way to indulge their passion for fine Italian luxury without the guilt in the form of the Levante Hybrid SUV. The new model is now offered by Modena Motorsports, the official distributor of Maserati in the Philippines. This is the second hybrid in Maserati’s lineup, following the Ghibli Hybrid sedan first launched in 2020.

The Levante Hybrid is easy to distinguish from the rest of the stable. It features exterior and interior details that contribute to this car’s immediately recognizable design. It features blue accents, the shade chosen to identify hybrid cars, already used by Maserati on Ghibli Hybrid. These are composed of the three iconic side air ducts, the brake calipers and the C-pillar logo. The same blue shade reappears inside the car, specifically on the embroidered seams of the seats.

To create its hybrid powertrain, the Levante Hybrid combines the four-cylinder, two-liter engine with a 48-volt Hybrid system to recover energy during deceleration and braking. It produces a maximum power output of 330 Ps and torque of 450 Nm delivered from just 2,250 rpm. It can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in six seconds and on to a top speed of over 240 km/h.

Despite the addition of the hybrid elements, the Levante Hybrid, only available with all-wheel drive, weighs less than the six-cylinder engine equivalent (both diesel and gasoline), and above all has an even better weight distribution since the battery is placed in the rear without compromising the load capacity and optimally balancing the masses of the vehicle. It is also faster and more sustainable than the diesel or gasoline variants.

These two hybrid models are just the start of Maserati’s push into a future in which all new Trident models will be electrified.

Besides the addition of the hybrid powertrain, the Levante hybrid also features the latest Maserati Connect program. This system ensures your Maserati is connected at all times to your mobile device. With a Smartphone or Smartwatch, drivers can stay in contact with their car via the Maserati Connect App; this is also possible from home via their virtual personal assistant (Amazon Alexa & Google Assist). It enables the owner to keep an eye on the car's health. Maserati Connect will alert the driver when a service is due, improving the customer care experience.
