They released their first studio album “Story Written in Music” and held their press showcase on June 15, where they performed “Venus,” “Bounce With Me,” “Binary Star,” “Play Dumb” and “For Baby.”

Jaehan was also announced as the official leader of Omega X.

“Omega X's first full album ‘Story Written in Music’ is out! I tried to show my sincerity to For X in this album, so hopefully, they can feel loved and encouraged by listening to this album. Also, I wish everyone who listens to our album feels happy while enjoying this album. Please show a lot of love for ‘Story Written in Music,’” he said.

Omega X debuted in 2021 and last January, they won the Rookie of the Year award at the 31st Seoul Music Awards.

Last January, they released their new album “Love Me Like” that highlighted their powerful performances.

“Story Written in Music” contains 13 tracks with “For Baby” only available on the physical CD.

“Since this is our first full album, there were 13 songs, therefore, there was a lot to prepare. But now seeing our album is finally out, I'm very proud of it. Hope everyone enjoys our album!” said Hangyeom.

The album’s lead track is “Play Dumb” that shows the playful side of Omega X. The choreography for “Play Dumb” was done by Choi Young-jun, known for his work with artists such as TWICE ("TT"), Wanne One ("Energetic"), Monsta X ("DRAMARAMA" and "Jealousy"), Seventeen ("Don't Want to Cry" and "Adore U").

For their single albums “Love Me Like” and “Vamos,” the members contributed to the production and/or writing of some of their music. For their first studio album, the members also became songwriters.

“We've had our worries working on our first full album, but I'm very happy to finally present it to the world! Please continue supporting and showing love to us!” said Xen.

Yechan said, “I feel like a year has passed so quickly. There were hard times, but every moment in the past year was happy. I hope to continue performing safely and happily.”
