The finalists for the World’s Best School were announced on June 9. There were 50 schools for each of the five Prize Categories.
The World’s Best School Prizes was launched by global education organization T4 Education (T4) this year. It aims to recognize the excellence and commitments of schools in sharing their “respective journeys to the awarding organization to collectively contribute to strengthening schools around the world.”
On its website, T4 said that the finalists for the World’s Best School Prizes came from all over the world who are “transforming the lives of their students.”
“These are the stories of exemplary schools that, in the shadow of a global pandemic, have demonstrated powerful and inspiring initiatives that are transforming the lives of their students and their communities,” T4 said.
T4 noted that these schools are “leading by sharing their best practices and expertise, stepping forward in disseminating grassroots solutions to tackle the greatest challenges that our education system faces today.”
The Top 10 shortlisted schools for each category will be featured in World Education Week which is considered the biggest global online celebration of schools.
The World Education Week, annually hosted by T4 Education, will take place from Oct. 17 to 21, 2022 to share the schools’ stories of success and experiences. The winners will also be announced during the event.
