QC accepts online payment for business tax assessment

Business owners can pay their business tax assessment through the Quezon City E-Services platform.

“We are returning the favor to our business owners who are among the primary drivers of our growth. By delivering efficient systems and services, the city government can help them save time and focus more on growing their businesses,” Mayor Joy Belmonte said.

According to City Treasurer Ed Villanueva, all business owners who wish to request for their local business tax assessment may now do so via the QC E-Services portal (https://qceservices.quezoncity.gov.ph) under the “Pay Business Tax” menu.

Businesses registered in the Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) and those that are not registered like sari-sari stores may use the online application.

Taxpayers can choose between online payment through GCash or Paymaya, or via manual payment at any branch of Landbank of the Philippines.

Belmonte likewise reminded taxpayers to be vigilant and to report fixers via the “People’s Corner” on the official website of the Quezon City Government (www.quezoncity.gov.ph).

“We hope our business owners will take time to familiarize themselves with our online system which eliminates the need for middle men or fixers. At the same time, we call on our QCitizens to help us apprehend fixers who try to extort from them their hard-earned money. Don't be afraid, as we will protect you until the end,” Belmonte said.
