Multi-hyphenate siren Maris Racal is out with a new album, her second.
Released last June 11, the new record is titled “Ate Sandali.”
The 8-track set is a collection of previously released singles and a couple of new tunes.
To those not in the know, apart from being a singer-songwriter, Racal is also an accomplished actress, vlogger.
Racal’s sound is a varied lot and her album reflects this.
The styles range from pop, alt-tinged singer-songwriter type tunes, to pop rock.
The album track list includes the title track (“Ate Sandali”), “’Di Papakawalan,” tuneful synth pop “Asa Naman,” femme-pop styled ballad “Not For Me,” previously released single “Pumila Ka,” acoustic-tinged “Kahit Na Anong Sablay,” hipster-pop flavored “Carelessly” and piano-decked ballad “Laro Laro Laro.”
Her official press describes her “an effective chronicler of love anthems for the modern age; a guitar-toting songstress known for balancing commercial appeal with artistic integrity.”
