MB Daily News Update: PRRD to attend inauguration of Sara as VP


After missing the chance to witness his daughter being declared winner in the May 2022 polls, President Duterte isn’t about to pass up the opportunity to attend Sara Duterte’s inauguration as the 15th Vice President of the country on June 19, 2022, in Davao City.

But Vice President Leni Robredo won’t make it to her successor’s inauguration as she will be attending the Naga Charter Day in Naga, Camarines Sur, on the same weekend.

Meanwhile, President-elect Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. continued to receive foreign dignitaries as well as heads of international groups with just 17 days before he is inaugurated as the 17th President of the Philippines.

Bulusan Volcano continues to be in a state of hydrothermal unrest, according to the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs).
