The 17-year-old Eala hopes to follow up her second pro title victory last April in the W25 Chiang Rai in Thailand when she goes up against a strong field composed of world No. 99 and top seed Lin Zhu of China, second seed Anastasia Tikhonova and third pick Jaimee Fourlis of Australia.

This is the second $60,000 tournament that Eala would be competing in, the first was in the W60 Grenoble in France where she had to go through two qualifying matches before finishing in the main draw second round.

She is coming off a quarterfinal finish in the W25 Madrid in Spain last week where she lost to her doubles partner, Alice Robbe, 7-6 (3), 6-3.

Aside from the W25 Chiang Rai title, Eala has also won in the W25 Manacor in Spain last year.
