Young artists of Polyeast Records breathe new life into OPM


Newly signed artists Drei Raña, Selena Marie, Aaron Obra, and Arron Rebustes under Polyeast Records.

With the upcoming beats of original Pilipino music (OPM), new sets of artists are now ready to shine under Polyeast Records. They are: Drei Raña, Selena Marie, Aaron Obra, and Arron Rebustes. 

Each of these young and talented individuals brings a new color with their new unique styles and approaches to OPM music.  

Drei Raña has been under the Polyeast records since 2018. He still stayed active in creating music and content for his Facebook page which gained over 809k followers, while he also did covers on his YouTube channel which has now over 100k subscribers. 

"For me naman po, although long shot siya, I would like to do a collab with sir John Mayer, because he's a very great guitarist, he's a poet, magaling po siyang composer, and I like how he puts metaphors in his songs," Drei mentioned. 

Selena Marie was dubbed the Ukelele Girl, through her charming voice. She is now promoting her rendition of the song  “First Love Never Dies” originally done by the Boyfriends. Selena is thankful to Polyeast Records for allowing her to recreate the song. 

"Well for me si Niki Zenfanya po from 88 rising, kasi I find her music really soothing, parang tama lang and I like her genre, and  If given a chance to collaborate with her, I'd be glad and honored to do so," shared Selena during the mediacon. 

Aaron Obra is an aspiring singer from Nueva Ecija, when he was recognized for his famous TikTok duet with award-winning singer Ed Sheeran. From there, Aaron is now promoting his debut single entitled Sa ‘Yo.

"If even a chance, I would like to collaborate with Ed Sheeran po na nakaduet ko sa TikTok. Siya po yung napili ko kasi yung versatility niya sa music, I think magcocompliment po yung sa amin dalawa," Aaron mentioned. 

Arron Rebusteis also promoting his first single, “Quiet Room.” The 19-year-old singer from Tondo is thankful to all his fans for supporting his craft in music. He has received his Silver Button Award for reaching 100,000 subscribers on YouTube. 

"Pinakamalaking influenced po sa akin para magstart sa career na is si Shawn Mendez. Parang nakakarelate po ako sa kanya dahil nagstart din siya sa ka-age ko and sa songwriting niya ang galing po," Arron shared.
