Pharmally executives released from Pasay City Jail

The two Pharmally Pharmaceutical Corp. executives detained at the Pasay City jail since November last year were finally released from detention on Thursday, June 2.

Pharmally executives Mohit Dargani and Linconn Ong were released from the Pasay City Jail around around 9:15 a.m. after their released order was signed by Senate President Vicente Sotto III.

Bureau of Jail Management and Penology (BJMP) spokesperson Chief Inspector Xavier Solda said they received the release order at around 8:00 a.m.

The two executives have been detained at the Pasay City Jail for six months for failing to submit documents being sought by senators on the allegedly anomalous multi-billion peso supply deals between Pharmally and the government.

The two were initially detained at the Senate after senators cited them in contempt during a Senate Blue Ribbon Committee hearing on the pandemic spending and alleged anomalous government contracts for medical supplies.
