Over 2.4 million individuals fully vaccinated against Covid-19 – QC LGU

A total of 2,455,572 adults and children in Quezon City (QC) were fully vaccinated against the coronavirus disease (Covid-19) as of Thursday, May 26, the local government announced.

The local government unit (LGU) said that a total of 5,787,199 doses have been deployed to its residents and workers in the city. It added that 344,979 minors have already been vaccinated against the virus.

The QC government have also administered 858,856 booster shots to its residents.

The city rolled out the second Covid-19 booster shot to senior citizens, immunocompromised adults, and health workers last May 18.

Vaccinees should present a vaild ID, their vaccination cards, and a medical certificate for the immunocompromised. They will also undergo screening before getting vaccinated.

The city governnment reminded the residents that the second booster shots will only be given to immunocompromised individuals who received their first booster doses three months or more prior to their vaccination day, while four or more months for the elderlies and frontline healthworkers.
