Former Pinoy Big Brother (PBB) housemate and volleyball player Alyssa Valdez appealed to netizens to avoid spreading stories about her rumored breakup with Filipino basketball star Keifer Ravena.
On Twitter on May 26, Alyssa wrote in the caption: "Please avoid making up stories and spreading false rumors. Thank you for all the love."
VMG Asia, the talent management of the national volleyball player, also posted an art card which addressed the gossips.
Earlier, Alyssa withdrew as the celebrity Top 2 from PBB after she represented the country in the Southeast Asian (SEA) Games. She said that the SEA Games schedule might coincide with the entry of the top 2 housemates of each edition of “PBB Kumunity.”
Alyssa explained: “Dito po sa labas ng inyong bahay mayroon pong mga commitment na kailangan din po akong gampanan para po sa ating bansa. Magpe-prepare naman po ang national team para po sa nalalapit na SEA Games. Sa Vietnam po ito gaganapin and hindi ko rin po masasabi sa kung kalian matatapos kaya naman po hindi ko po magagampanan at hindi po ako makakabalik sa loob ng inyong bahay.”
