Five alleged drug pushers arrested in separate police operations in Bacolod and Binalbagan town

BACOLOD CITY – Five alleged drug pushers were arrested in separate buy-bust operations on Saturday (May 21) in this city and in Binalbagan town.

Authorities arrested Gomer Beloya, 46, of Barangay 12, Bacolod City, and Melvin Generoso, 41, of Victorias City, Negros Occidental in a buy-bust at Purok Masinadyahon, also in Barangay 12.

Taken from the two suspects were 110 grams of shabu worth P748,000, P1000 marked money and P12,000 boodle money.

Both suspects are detained at Police Station 6.

Meanwhile, three drug personalities were also arrested in Binalbagan town on the same day as authorities continued their unrelenting drive against illegal drugs.

The arrest came after the three drug suspects on board a tricycle tried to evade a Commission on Elections’ checkpoint in Barangay Enclaro.

The police confiscated about one gram of shabu worth P6,800.
