P1.5 M worth of marijuana seized from high value target drug pusher nabbed in Isabela buy-bust


CAMP MARCELO A ADDURU, Tuguegarao City -- A high value target drug personality was arrested during a tight police operation in Brgy. Sinamar Sur, San Mateo, Isabela over the weekend.

Arjee Villuan, also known as ‘Takki’, 31, and a resident of Brgy. Sinamar Sur, San Mateo, was arrested after selling one brick of marijuana hashish to one of the PDEA agents/operatives who acted as poseur-buyer.

Confiscated from the suspect were one piece of genuine P1,000 bill and nine pieces of 1000-peso bill boodle money used as buy-bust money; five bricks of marijuana hashish with estimated Dangerous Drug Board value of P1.5 million; and one unit of improvised shotgun with two live ammunitions.

Vinluan is now facing charges for violation of Republic Act 9165, Republic Act 10591 and Omnibus Election Code.

Upon learning of the suspect’s alleged illegal operation, joint operatives from San Mateo Police Station, PDEA Regional Office II-Isabela and the Provincial Intelligence Unit from Isabela Police Provincial Office carried out the buy-bust operation to arrest the suspect.
