The FiberXers got the No. 9 pick in last week’s Rookie Draft in exchange for veteran center Yousef Taha in a deal the league approved Saturday, May 21.

Lojera, the southpaw guard from La Salle, is the latest freshman to join Converge, which earlier in the week got No. 7 selection Tyrus Hill from NLEX.

They join fellow rookies Jeo Ambohot and Justin Arana, who were chosen third and fourth by the FiberXers during the proceedings held last May 15.

Converge is hoping that the addition of new blood to mix up with holdovers from the Alaska franchise will result in a solid debut stint in the big league.

Ex-Aces players Allyn Bulanadi, Kevin Racal, Alec Stockton, RK Ilagan and Mike DiGregorio were recently signed by the FiberXers management.

Taha will play for his eighth team since being taken by Air21 in the first round of the 2012 draft.

The ex-Mapua center had a solid campaign with the Aces during the 2021-22 season, averaging 8.1 points and 6.4 rebounds.
